All information you provide to us is stored on our secure servers. Any payment transactions will be encrypted. 4.2       All personal data that is collected can currently be split into 3 areas; these are Membership, Gift Aid & Ticketing.

The society stores data of members of the society to help with the administration of that membership.

Data is stored on electronic format via secure password, the password is held by the membership Secretary and the Chief Executive.

Data has been collected over many years and no formal “Obtaining Consent for Marketing” has been acquired, however all or any marketing and as per the ICO handout “Direct Marketing Checklist” any marketing that is done is

The society stores personal data of Gift Aid donations to help with the administration of the charity and for HMRC compliance.

Data is stored on electronic format via secure password, the password is held by the Regional Shop Manager and the Chief Executive.

Data is collected via an application form as I both stored by hard copy in the main office and electronically an a authorised HMRC Software package that is password protected, (The Form Appendix A) gives an option to “opt in” or “opt out” of any specific further marketing from the Society.

 

It also states on the form that “The Charity will not pass your details on to any other organisation”
